Ok folks it’s getting down to the wire and very serious. Check this out from the Financial Times.

 

 

In Florida, ground zero for election disasters in 2000, the election supervisor for Leon County allowed anti-electronic voting activists to try breaching security in the county’s optical scan voting system, prompting the big three electronic voting systems companies – Diebold, Election Systems & Services, and Sequoia – to refuse to sell the county new machines. The Florida secretary of state has since opened an anti-trust investigation. 

 

 


 

 

It’s hard for me to find something funny about this today. Just feeling angry at our absurdity (USA Voting).

The Presidential runoff in Italy has got my attention, especially since they mentioned my name Hanging Chad. Seems they want to blame me for their fiasco as well.

So I called my buddy Rudi Jacuzzi and asked him flat out "how do we say "Hanging Chad "in Italian. He says” Wait a minute Hank let me switch over to thinking in Italian. Waiting on baited breath he finally said in Italian "pezzi di carta bucata pendente".  So I say “well how do we get a nick name like Hank out of that”? He shakes his finger under his chin and mumbles something about American mentality ...............then some other grunting sounds ……….manach ...................morte.  So I eased off a little bit for safety sake.

Now here is the question. Did Rudi get the translation it right?

Any other Italians out there want translate my name “Hanging Chad”

OK Voters, pay attention.  I may just be a CHAD, but I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it any more.

Either you are a disaffected Republican or a disaffected Democrat. Perhaps you are one of the 78 million eligible American voters who did not vote in the last presidential election. Or, maybe you are rooting for the Red or the Blue.  You fit somewhere in this continuum. Either way, we are sending young Americans to die for the right to vote in Iraq and we as citizens are, in general, failing miserably at home. Just stick your head in the sand one more time. Don't vote, don't care - BUT YOU STILL WANT FREEDOM!.

While the RED and BLUE are duking it out, what happens to the country? Politics in America is like a boxing match. It is not a team sport - its a battle. Most Americans are like the kid that never gets picked for the kick ball team.  So, what happens? the kid does something else. Non-participation by citizens is eroding America. If you hate the RED or the BLUE, then you need to clean up your non-active CITIZEN act. Indifference is equal to rolling over and playing dead.

Democratics cannot muster a good defense or offense? The Democrats are supposed to be an alternative to the Big Bad Fascist leaning Republicans. But nothing can happen really. The voters are the WHITE group - yeah we are supposed to be RED, WHITE & BLUE remember? Where is the middle?  What about all of you sleepers that think all Republicans and all Democrtats should go to hell? If you really took a stance, a third party coalition could emerge.  It could be Green, Independent or Libertarian - or a coalition of THREE. Please, please , please anything but the same Tweedle-dee & Tweedle-dum of Red & Blue. Find your middle now http://chadz.net/3408128_29832.htm

Hello America!  If  Senators don't hold themsleves accountable who will hold Congress accountable?  Where is the accountability?  Who is ultimately accountable for this accountability mess - you and me?  If the legislative branch is not being held accountable for this Lobbying  - Hanging Chad - fiasco, then who is accountable to the American people? What woulda THIRD PARTY say?  Whay if we had a coalition government.  Are the Republocrats and the Demopublicans in cahoots?

Race to get federal funds is a way to look past the serious flaws of electronic voting. Form a Coffee Cup Citizenry group NOW! Remenber the Stalin quote,  “IT IS ENOUGH THAT THE PEOPLE KNOW THERE WAS AN ELECTION. THE PEOPLE WHO CAST VOTES DECIDE NOTHING. THE PEOPLE WHO COUNT THE VOTES DECIDE EVERYTHING.” Citizens unite and restore the Chadz.

Hello everyone I got a good laugh this morning from the Arizona Republic .

Seems everyone wants to continue to talk about me and my kin.

Spanish galleon and palm trees are slapped onto the coin in a bland triangular formation as if designed by a

follower of the "Leave Nothing Out" school of art. But where's the hanging chad?”


 We have been joked off by the best of the best. Leno to Letterman, Bush to H. Clinton Opra to this

No folks we are not leaving this Great Democracy we are here to stay. We have served our country

through many peaceful elections and are proud of the job we’ve done in the past. Heck we can’t help

it if your election precincts don’t even know how to empty the darn tray regularly. Lets get real here.

Our country has just spent 2.3 Billion Dollars cause some folks don’t know how to maintain a simple

 slide out trash tray to prevent us from being dimpled, hung, trapped etc. And we are the problem

 yeah NOT.

Ok Ok Ok ………….. what’s done is done. But we Chadz have an obligation to see to it that our

replacement’s don’t have a Hanging Chad in the future. Holly Molly now I ‘m using this new Lexicon

 too! Is that an oxymoron or are we all the morons here?

Dear Sleeping Texans,

Kinky Friedman and Carole Keeton Strayhorn are being "Headed Off At The Pass" and so is TEXAS democracy. Please contact your State Congressman and Senators immediately http://www.house.state.tx.us/resources/faq.htm#who_rep. Democracy is being compromised. For once in a long while the right or the left is being challenged by the center.  We have two (2) independent candidates running for Governor. This is now beginning to look like a democracy - not just partisan politics. The office of the Texas Secretary of State is slowing down a process that will allow Texas voters to have greater "Third Party" choice.

How long ago was it that you were a citizen, a Texan? Now we are taking sides against one another.  Don't do it - Unify as Texans and lets take back our state from bureaucrats, partisan politicos and self-serving social climbers that have forgotten they are civil servants.

To quote a great freedom fighter, James Bowie who said, " You May All Go To Hell, I Will Go To Texas." If I don't fight for my state, if I don't get involved, If I don't stand for my beloved Texas now, who will own our state, the land and our natural resources?
